Garden party in Capital for ME sufferers

AN annual garden party for people in Edinburgh suffering from ME will take place at the beginning of August.

Organised by Edinburgh ME Self-Help, the event brings together patients from across the area to socialise and discuss concerns.

It will take place on August 7 in the scenic gardens of Duddingston Kirk from 1pm.

The charity said the summertime meeting was vital because it encouraged those with the debilitating illness to attend a social event.

The popular event will include refreshments, a buffet and a raffle.
