A DENTAL practice has been ordered to apologise to a patient deregistered for arriving 15 minutes late for an appointment, it was revealed yesterday.
The patient was delayed by heavy traffic.
The unnamed NHS Lothian practice told the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman that it operated a "zero- tolerance" policy on punctuality. But Professor Alice Brown ruled that NHS regulations were not followed.
