Published Date: 16 June 2009
THE US government last night officially confirmed North Korea's underground atomic test in late May, saying the blast was somewhat larger than the regime's first test, which was conducted in 2006.
The blast yielded "several kilotons," the US Director of National Intelligence said in a statement, making it a "probable" nuclear blast.

A series of atmospheric tests was needed to confirm the initial seismic readings, which were taken immediately following the explosion.

Independent analysts have estimated the yield of the atomic explosion to be roughly four kilotons.

North Korea may now be preparing for its third nuclear test, a show of defiance as the United Nations adopts new sanctions against the country as a result of the 25 May blast.

These Koreans are coming along in leaps and bounds. The French did the same thing at Mururoa atoll and pretty much destroyed the place.

I see that missle they pulled out of the Panama Canal may come from a Venezuelan Air Force fighter. It was the "Made In China" sticker on the missle gave it away.

Obama needs to step in quickly here and take control of this situation that's about to explode. Bush was the main instigator of all this mess. An ex pilot controlling a country like ours was a joke. A b-grade pilot made it even worse. The last thing we need is another war.

The Americans know, Leo the Dreamer, that North Korea is doing a dance because China wants her to...so she can have a 'regional distraction' so she can build her great armies to complete her global ambition to rule the world.
They aint so dumb.

Let's hope not, not ever.
NK is a brutal place, with prison camps that make Gitmo look like heaven. A young man who was born in a political prisoner camp was forced to watch the executions of his mother being hanged, and his brother being shot for attempting to escape. To get information out of him, they bound the boy's hands and feet, embedded a hook in his groin and dangled him over a fire.
The world needs to find a way to notch back this horrifyingly brutal regime and send truck convoys in to rescue these people from the horrors. Will China help? Hahaha!
Japan has everything to lose if NK expands power, and everything to gain by getting rid of this maniac with a button to press.

Say what you want, but not during the entire term of the 'draftdodger' did the actions and words of N. Korea become this threatening and dangerous or capable of destruction.
So the Bush administration paid out money to NK, so what. I think humanity is worth paying for

How does a "draft dodger" become a fighter pilot?
