FIRST MINISTER'S Questions is generally a dull sort of affair, the type you might want to take your earplugs along to, or that copy of Finnegans Wake you've always meant to finish. The other week though, FMQs got a bit of a loud awakening, and I'm not just talking about the snores coming from Jack McConnell's seat. No, an entire symphony orchestra turned up to play our MSPs out, bashing out a few jolly extracts from Bizet and Wagner. It almost made the experience fun.
The orchestra weren't just there for fun, of course. They were students from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, whose future has been placed under threat since it was revealed that the academy is facing a £600,000 budget shortfall in the ...

How can you say that, when thousands wait eagerly from week to week just to witmess the shenanigans between the parties and the incredible events that are overtaking Scotland? You may have undermined the credibility of your whole article by this statement.

We're never going to be an economically viable independent country until we have to be. It's about time we put our shoulders to the wheel and built a better country, rather than sitting around waiting for England to do it. We have the ability to create a better nation with independence.

I only make reference to England because that's what unionists seem to be suggesting. i.e."We get our money from England" and without it we would be like Albania/Zimbabwe/whatever other crap analogy they can dream up.
