GREAT publicity about the £1,000 first-class walk-on rail fare from Cornwall to Kyle of Lochalsh (your report, 4 November). At the other end of the scale, I have just booked a standard class return from Kirkcaldy to Pewsey in Wiltshire, via London, for £30 return. (£18 return to London and £12 return for the Pewsey leg). So let's be fair!
