ONE conclusion from the Pre-Budget Report is that the odds are shortening on a June general election. Of course, our nail-chewing Prime Minister will not make up his mind until the last possible second.

If there is an election, the Opposition will be content to lose as Labour will be destroyed like Major's Tories were by the full force of the forthcoming depression.

As long as you have numpties like those in Glenrothes there is little hope for us.
I hope Brown stays in power long enough for even these numpties to realise that he is the cause of our problems.
