In your report, "NHS branded chronic failure over 900,000 patients in agony" (18 August), you quote extensively from a non-representative voice, and detract from what should be a landmark meeting, the 12th world congress on pain, the aims of which include raising the profile of pain management not only in Scotland but worldwide.
Recently, after years of hard work, the Grips (Getting Relevant Information on Pain Services Scotland) report has been published by the Scottish Government. This contains a definite commitment to improve pain management services throughout the countr...
