2 Yip, all engineered by the super rich,too many ordinary people able to have a holiday or 2 a year retire early and enjoy some of the good life, don't you find the reference to the phrase used in many news broadcasts "New World Order" frightening, it is to me, average Scottish salary £28,300? I take in that include the mega rich etc, how about the mean or the median, can never remember the difference

This is unacceptable. The US CEO had his earnings increased by 14% in 2008, being paid $12.9 million in salary,stock and bonus. Like RBS there seems to be one rule for the top people and another for the employees.

Perhaps instead of retiring with a decent pension after saving up your whole life they can 'Let us eat cake' instead. The only way to address this huge imbalance is mass civil disobedience, but nowadays all those union reps are on 50k+ a year and very friendly with the gov minister of their profession.

Also could someone actually find any figures on how many people actualy earn over £25k ?
