MICHAEL Martin, the Speaker, was caught in fresh controversy yesterday over MPs' expenses when he refused to allow the matter to be debated.
David Winnick, a Labour MP, challenged Mr Martin on the 11th-hour appeal by Commons authorities, led by the Speaker, to stop the disclosure of claims made by 14 MPs, including Gordon Brown and David Cameron.

From what has been reported about Martins 'Political Fraudulent Expenses Claims' - if true, and there seems no reason to doubt it, I bet he doesn't want to discuss the matter at all, anywhere, with anybody!

Mr Martin surely cannot feel he has not done any wrong, and it is very alarming - but not surprising, that this seemingly very pompous person seems, without any shame whatsoever, thinks he is positioned above everyone else - and what he says goes!!!

No doubt, in this wonderful Democratic New Labour controlled Country we 'exist in' 'Right' will prevail, and hopefully soon' and see this man, along with others, be awarded their due penalties for what seems to be a 'blatant and dishonest fleecing of the Taxpayers Funds' to satisfy his / theirs geed for personal gain - regardless ot eh consequences to others!!!

If this is a so called "Open Democracy" why are we refused the right to see the missdemenours of our so called leaders?

Someone suggested that the real reasons that some MPs don't want their second holmes declared is that their wives don't know about them and that they entertain their mistresses there.

However, I couldn't possibly know if that is the case!
