THE SNP has said it is not surprised by reports that Gordon Brown has privately insisted he will not quit if Labour lose the Glasgow East seat.
A Nationalist spokesman said it always expected an SNP victory to force policy changes, not resignation.

The full article contains 50 words and appears in The Scotsman newspaper.

The Former Mr. Angry,

But we won't be too disappointed if he does resign. Not, of course, that he would have the decency to do so as he is still martyred to the cause of "leading" the country into deep trouble in a sort of Messianic fervour. Well it is his turn after all.

Wonderful news, best of both worlds. The SNP wins Glasgow East and Maggie Broon stays on to fight the general election.

Hopefully an SNP victory in Glasgow East will force Broon's resignation followed by an early Westmonster General Election!

Brown won't resign if Labour gets a bad result. He'll waffle on about by-elections not reflecting public opinion, poor results being the normality of mid-term blues, that he will get on with 'running the country' and focusing on the 'things that matter to people like police, education, healthcare, etc...' yawn, tawn yawn.

The latest twist on the Labour sabbotage effort. David Bank's now says "Labour and AM2 stink" (which we know) thus trying to give the impression the sabboteurs are SNP supporters.

How this SNP Government is wading through this avalanche of unionist propaganda and still managing to beat Labour in the polls is unbelievable.

On the other hand the London controlled governments of the past have been so bad for Scotland when a great Government comes along they naturally look sensational by comparison.

The saboteur is "McPlavda blog" aka "David Banks", who is rarely off my tail.

Quite how you can spin it as a "Labour sabotage effort" when it's clearly the work of one crazed individual beggars belief.

Furthermore, on this thread...

http://news.scotsman.com/politics/Glasgow-East-byelection-Labour-plays.4306814.jp

...the moderator has removed my posts #52, #54 and #55, which contained a list of 66 SNP "achievements" which they might not want publicised.

He has also removed every post by a troll user "PM2" which copied chunks of the same posts, thereby giving the impression that I was spamming. However, he has not yet removed any of the other 900+ spam posts by "McPravda blog" or "David Banks".

Draw your own conclusions.

14 PM2, AM2, David Banks, or whatever you are calling yourself at the moment.

Your pathetic spin to try to paint yourself as the agreived party will not work. The sites went down just after you were exposed as a Scotsman plant. No amount of whining or whitewash is going to hide that revelation.

We are not surprised that all the posts confirming this were also deleted from the sites. Your futile attempts to cover your tracks are another example of just how far you and your cohorts at the Scotsman will go to distort and misrepresent the truth.

I wonder how long this will last until it too joins the rest in your deletion file.

Here we see the nationalist conspiracy formation process in full swing.

You come up with a theory: that I am a "Scotsman plant".

You express the theory. You think of it as "exposure".

The moderator deletes it. It is defamatory, in a sense, I suppose. You see that as "confirming" your theory.

No facts will now shake your feeling of absolute certainty.

The only logical conclusion that can be drawn, from the Troll attacks on these comments boards, is that NuLabour are in deep trouble in Glasgow East.

NuLabour cannot cope with their duplicity being exposed, on comments boards like this, despite the rabid support of the official media.

Remember Mr Brown's words that he would doanything to preserve the Union!!!!!!!!!!! Losing Glasgow East will be a disaster, not only for Brown but, for the Union.

However, an SNP victory will be a catalyst for a more positive East End as it will focus Westminster's attention, firmly, on what needs to be done.

Strange that you should show up in a thread in which I was highlighting conspiratorial delusions.

Tell me: do you still think that the Scotsman forum moderator follows, not Scotsman forum terms and conditions, but Home Office memoranda?

AM Squared.

17 posts from you in the first thread about the Glasgow East by-election. Not bad for a man who promised us he was not going to post on these, or the Herald threads any more.

As you said yourself "Most of the people who regularly post here disagree with me about Scotland’s future."

You definitely got that right. So, why do you continue with your regular attempts at denigrating Scotland and the Scottish people? Moreover, why are you, as an Irishman, so concerned about Scotland's future?

You went into hiding when the Mouth of the South was breaking the law (by her own admission); but I suppose that is different. You are obviously a paid propagandist for the New Labour Sleaze and Corruption Party, even to the extent of posting under various name so that you can have someone to agree with your garbage.

Do us all a favour, and go back into hiding.

#19, AM2.

Are you really that thick???

Not really. Just another attempt at distortion or, to give you the benefit of the doubt, a distinct lack of interpretive ability.

Either/or you have proved, once again, that your take on the written word is highly questionable.

Anyway, I await your erudite comments post 24/07.

Broon won't resign. He'll have to be voted out. By then he'll be filthy and rich for life. No burroo for Labour Lottery winners.
