THE United States yesterday said it still supported an international agreement that requires the Lockerbie bomber to serve his sentence in Scotland.
There has been speculation that Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi could mount a legal challenge to serve the remainder of his sentence in Libya.

But Kurt Volker, the acting US assistant secretary of state, said it was important that the original arrangements were adhered to.

He said: "Those were part of the arrangements and it's important that they be followed through and that justice be served."

The UK government last year began negotiations over a prisoner transfer agreement with Libya.

However, Jack Straw, the Westminster Justice Secretary, insisted that no deal had been done over the transfer of the Lockerbie bomber. He said it would be for Scottish ministers to decide if Megrahi was returned to his home country.

Megrahi is serving a minimum of 27 years for the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie in 1988 in which 270 people were killed.

If it was agreed that hge should serve his sentence here then fair enough.
On the other hand: Every prisoner has the right to be moved to a prison near their family and i agree he should be entitled to this too.
This must never happen though until he has had his say at the Appeal courts at which he should be cleared through lack of evidence.

Old news actually please give us something new
Time we never listened to the USA and done our own humane thing

A Petition has been started by Karen Torley for disclosure in Scots cases and can be found here:

http://gopetition.com/petitions/grant-disclosure-to-scottish-defendants.html

For those that believe everyone charged with an offence has the right to full disclosure then they should sign this petition.

To see who has signed it look here:

Megrahi is one of the Scots Fighting an incestuously corrupt culture to deny access to documents that will embarrass those in authority.

Question and hypothesis?

Is the secret document from Switzerland? And form the missing FBI Timer-Polaroidphotos the basis in the document "under national security" provided in confidence to the UK Government by a foreign authority on 13 September 1996 ? (point 5 in the SCCRC decision fom 28 June 2007)

MEBO/Bollier will require a new entire "Swiss international legal assistance" against the Scottish Justice.

Cordial thanks of the Arab League for the support in the Lockerbie truth search.

The 20th Ordinary Arab Summit has demanded that all documents requested by the defence team in the trial of the Libyan political hostage Abd al Basset al Megrahi to be released to the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission. It authorized the Secretary General of the Arab League to follow up the decision and to report to the next Arab Summit.

Where are today the missing FBI Polaroid photos of the original "Lockerbie-MST-13 timer fragment" from Swiss commissioner Peter Flueckiger ex (BUPO) with my signature E.Bollier on the backside of the photos?

May 7, 2001:
Attorney Dr. Neupert has used registered mail, 7 of May 2001, to request from Mrs. Monique Saudan, the Swiss Federal Investigating Judge in the Lockerbie-matter, to order the Polaroid-photographs used during the events under the provision of "Swiss legal assistance", to be produced for his own and MEBO's viewing! (MEBO MST-13 timerfragment, No. (PT/35) and others.

May 25, 2001:

Attorney Dr. Neupert, informs E. Bollier that the Swiss Investigative Judge: Mrs. Monique Saudan issued a "Editionsverfügung" on May 25, 2001, fully approving the application to view said photographs. Instead, the Office of the Federal Police then gained time by extanding this date to June
22, 2001.

June 22, 2001:

Then, despite said extension, said photographs could not beproduced by the Federal Police, because the authorities were allegedly waiting for the OK from the FBI/USA to see said photographs handed over to the Swiss Investigative Judge.

July 6, 2001:

E. Bollier had been officially invited to Bern/Switzerland to meet Swiss Investigative Judge Monique Saudan, to then also view and discuss said evidence-photographs. He was told during this meeting that the OK had not been received from its owners!

Significant emphasis into the new Appeal proof:

1. Concerns: Witness Detective K. Thomson, Scottish police in Dumfries. 15.Sept.1999;
Edwin Bollier had requested with its investigation of the MST-13 timer fragment, in Dumfries by Prosecutor M. Watsona witness, who can testify the differences of the colors of both fragment (green and braun) PT/35B and DP/31 (A).

sign: What had stated the witness Thomson? The answer is always still held under catch.
(responsible for it: Witness K. Thomson,
Prosecutor Miriam Watson, Prosecutor Mr. Harvie and 4 more presented policy officer on this time.

2. Proof: On that original "Lockerbie" MST-13 Timerfragment police no. PT-35 was in-scratched a letter "M". (M for Muster/Sample?) On the fragment no. PT-35(B), examined in Dumfries, and at the court in Kamp van Zeist, was not in-scratched the letter "M".

3. Proof: On 15. September 1999, the fragment no. DP-31(a) in Dumfries was braun colored. Beetween Bollier's expert opinion on the MST-13 timer fragment
no. DP/31(a) on the 13th of September 1999 in the office of Prosecurator Miriam Watson in Dumfries (see police report) and his testimony in Kamp Zeist the fragment DP/31(a) had been burned in a way to make it impossible to recognize its colour!

Please d'ont forget, the Lockerbie affair are the largest fraud in Scotland!

The UK General Advocate Lord Davidson, QC, and the Scottish Lord Advocate Elish Angiolini, QC, can only delay the victory of truth in the "Lockerbie-scandal" but not prevent it ...

Hi GC. The problem is that these is no definitive proof that this man is the bomber. Now he is being denied the ability to prove his point. This whole scenario stank from day 1 . Information has been witheld and hidden all for political expediency. A huge cover up in fact.

Guillotines are for the Guilty not the innocent.
Oppression has no room in our society and should be stopped in it's tracks.
Absolute Disclosure in criminal cases is a must to ensure fair hearings.
The moment Crown say "no" we all know they are hiding crucial key material.

The link to the next blog shows quite clearly that in certain cases disclosure is being made in full.

http://bigwulliebeck.blogspot.com/2008/03/data-protection-joke-from-crown-office.html

But not in others.

Please sign the petition for disclosure in all cases on an even keel

Donald..once Gitmo is closed, I am hoping they go into maximum security prisons here in the US. They should be put in the general population (with other high crime prisoners)..no into isolation for their protection.
Let's see how long they last.

Mashimaro. A fair trial for this man will never happen. he will probably be spirited out of the country over the next few years over some political adgenda. This whole scenario is a huge cover up.
