A MAN was arrested in Scotland on suspicion of murder yesterday following the discovery of a body in Lancashire.
The 22-year-old was arrested in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, in connection with the murder in Skelmersdale.

Officers were called to the Abbeystead area of the town on Saturday morning after a local resident found the body of a man lying behind a house. The victim has been named as 43-year-old Peter Berkley.

Detective Superintendent Andy Webster, who is leading the investigation, said: "I would like to speak with anybody who might have seen a black Ford Ranger, registration number MV04 SXM, in or around the Skelmersdale area after 10am on Saturday."
