REAL Madrid's reported interest in the Hibernian striker Steven Fletcher has been thrown into doubt after the head of the club's youth system quit. Former Spain international Michel resigned then launched a scathing attack on president Ramon Calderon, who this week said Barcelona had been more successful at developing youth players.
"He doesn't know my work or what we do. He knows absolutely nothing about what goes on," said Michel. Fans have been unhappy to see young players loaned or sold, with few making the first team.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

'Fletcher to Real Madrid'. It's amazing how many gullible idiots still believe this story despite tthe truth of the matter being that Real kept a dossier on almost every player who took part in the youth championships a few years ago.
The were never interested in Fletcher and I've no idea why The Hibsman keep on banging a drum about this and trying to make it into a story.

AC Milan looked at Kev McNaughton once. True.

The boy has potential and i can believe Real scouted him, whether or not they were seriously thinking of bidding for him is another matter. He'll go to a low level Premiership team and hopefully prove himself worthy of a move upwards.

Pride Eh The Captal!:

Jealousy is a bad philanthropic trait.

Would like to think he will stay another season, but doubt it. So as he goes south and the money's fair I'll be happy.

At least we are making money at the mo and able to pay our players wages. Which can hardly be said for the lesser Circus team along in Bankrupcastle.
