JAVIER Mascherano was yesterday charged with improper conduct, for his behaviour in Liverpool's Premier League defeat at Manchester United.
A Football Association statement explained why Mascherano, sent off by referee Steve Bennett for dissent amounting to a second bookable offence at Old Trafford on Sunday, is facing the fresh charge.
The statement said: "The charge relates to his r
eaction towards referee Steve Bennett after being sent off. He has until 6pm tomorrow to respond. The case will be heard by a regulatory commission on Friday, 4 April."
Dutch terminate Bus serviceABERDEEN'S on-loan defender Dave Bus has been told his contract with Dutch side De Graafschap will not be extended when it expires this summer.
De Graafschap handed Bus a three-and-a-half-year deal in January 2005, but have decided his wages make the 29-year-old too expensive to keep.
Bus was out of favour at De Graafschap when he moved to Aberdeen in January, since when he has featured in four matches for the Dons. "With this contract he should now be one of the key players, but in the last two seasons he has hardly played a match," explained De Graafschap director Han Berger.
Setanta screen top-six deciderFALKIRK'S potential top-six decider against Aberdeen on the final weekend before the Premier League splits has been moved from Saturday, 5 April to Monday, 7 April.

DUMBARTON will have a minute's applause before their Third Division game against Stranraer on Saturday as a tribute to former Celtic player John Cushley who died this week. Cushley played over 100 games for Dumbarton during the 1970's.
