AALBORG have appointed Swede Magnus Pehrsson as new coach, replacing Scot Bruce Rioch who was dismissed in October.
Pehrsson, who has signed a three-year deal and will start work in January, was previously manager of Swedish club Gais.

As a professional, Pehrsson played with Swedish clubs Lidingo, Djurgarden and Goteborg, and also Bradford City. Aalborg are currently sixth in Denmark's 12-club league and recently overcame Celtic 2-1 in the Champions League.
