Clubs to pay respect to Maribor players killed in car crash

A one-minute silence will be observed before Maribor's UEFA Europa League tie against Aberdeen on Thursday following the death of two young players from the Slovenian club.

Striker Zoran Baljak and left-back Damjan Marjanovic, both 20, died in a car accident as they returned from training on Tuesday.

Goalkeeper Ljubomir Moravac, 19, was seriously injured and defender Ziga Lipuscek, 19, suffered minor injuries.

Players from both teams will also wear black armbands for the second leg in Maribor. The first leg in Aberdeen finished level at 1-1.
