SPL Fanzone: Kilmarnock

OUR cursed luck against Edinburgh sides continued last week as Hearts escaped with a point courtesy of an injury-time goal.

The match was pretty much end to end with no one managing to stamp their authority on proceedings. The balance of the game changed when our new Belgian frontman Dieter Von Tease (well that’s what we’re calling him) received his marching orders for a second yellow card, surprisingly though it seemed to turn things in our favour as the players stepped up a gear to compensate for our diminished numbers. With only a quarter of an hour to go Heffernan crashed home the opener from an in-swinging corner and we looked to be on easy street despite having only ten men on the park. A few minutes later our former full-back Hamill also saw red and as fate would have it that brought the pressure back on to us and we failed to hold out. Barry Richmond
