FROM sheep to the shores of the Clyde, Scotland is putting a little colour into its St Andrew's day celebrations this year.
In West Lothian, a flock of sheep was dyed blue by the M8 Art Project, while the Finnieston Bridge, in Glasgow, was lit up in traditional Scots colours.
The moves came as Linda Fabiani, the culture minister, claimed that holding major St Andrew's Day celebrations would put Scotland in a better position to tackle the economic downturn and help to attract more than 100,000 additional visitors over the next year.
