THAILAND'S prime minister yesterday lifted a state of emergency order.
Supporters of ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who rioted in Bangkok last week, called for a new protests to be held just hours after Abhisit Vejjajiva, the current leader, said the country had returned to normal.
