AFTER Scotland was named the second fattest nation on Earth, it became clear that the country could not sit back and hope the title disappeared.
Since then, improvements to school meals, education campaigns and exercise initiatives have been launched in an effort to make Scots healthier. Now a new drive is underway to break the cycle of obesity, focusing specifically on children.

Looks like a selected few, its like the other 'Health issues' we have seemingly have, drink and 'teen pregnancy'

But, 'pray do tell', why 'OH' why is it not 'televised' as in adverts on 'Kids TV',? or even on early evening Scottish TV advertising, a few 'tasty' repetitive adverts would soon get the message through for,..
'All Our ills'

Dont tell me its the,..'Cost'!

More Like, 'Sheer Stupidity'!

so#2 after many get diabetes type 2, cancer , heart disease, etc etc form being obese they should not let the nanny state treat them.

in my opinion, if people choose to get obese then by dint of the choices they have made it should follow they have made the choice to not have any treatment if the do not like the nanny state. Why should the NHS be made bankrupt because selfish people want to do what they choose.

Some need nannying as it is obvious they cannot look after themselves.
