STRIKER Thierry Henry has been made France captain for tonight's friendly away to Sweden in a bid to lift the team after their flop at Euro 2008.
"It was an obvious choice," coach Raymond Domenech said as he prepared for France's first game since a group stage exit from the European Championship. "Titi has what it takes."

Henry is nothing more than a petulant child. After the last world cup he took the huff at arsenal and refused to play for about half a season citing "injury" which was strange as he looked fine in the nighclubs, tv ads and dancing around in the stands of the Emirates.

When things don't go his way he goes in the huff and stops trying, not great leadership material.

#2 he seemed to do OK as captain at Arsenal and the players looked up to him in respect, I think nightclubs, tv ads and the stand are a totally different proposition to actually playing in a match tho.
