Low crowd no surprise

I was surprised David Ferguson (The Scotsman, 2 November) did not mention the crowd at the Edinburgh-Newport Gwent Dragons game – a mere 2066.
That, however, did not surprise me when I read his report – "Edinburgh made it harder still with poor-decision making at key times, wasteful and aimless kicking and a distinct lack of control and composure." The two pro games produced one try: the six Premiership 1 matches 40, an average of 6.5. The proof is in the pudding.
