Baby sleeps as car crashes into home

A FATHER said his sleeping baby was lucky to be alive yesterday after a Mercedes crashed through their bedroom wall.
Joe Poulter, 40, was awoken at 2:20am with an "almighty crash" after the car smashed into their cottage in Sunderland. Men ran from the scene but a 16-year-old was arrested.
