A POACHER trying to steal native oysters in Argyll was caught by police after being spotted by a member of the public.
As a result 200 oysters were returned to the sea this week, a spokesman for Scottish Natural Heritage said. Native oysters are struggling to survive and it is illegal to remove them without a licence.
