Pet owners warned over sun damage

AN ANIMAL welfare charity has warned owners to keep their pets safely out of the sun after a cat with skin cancer had to have her ears amputated.
Unveiling a new guide to skin safety, Caroline Reay, Blue Cross's chief vet, said: "When planning days out this summer, spare a thought for your pets."
