VENEZUELA seized foreign-owned cement plants yesterday as President Hugo Chavez moved forward with a plan to make South America's top oil exporter a socialist society.
Venezuela took over installations belonging to Mexican giant Cemex after failing to reach a deal in cement nationalisation talks.

The only people likely to blame Bush for "this all" are those that think he should have bombed the place years ago. But I think they'll blame Castro before they blame Bush.

Anyway, who is this Mexican giant called Cemex? Is he in the Olympics?

mexico's not a socialist county. does have one of the most inspiring models of socialism in the Zapatasti National Army of Liberation, but they don't control much of the country.

We clearly don't want to see all their foreign companies plundering the resources of other countries. Good work Chavez.
