LAWYERS working for the Obama administration admitted yesterday they are uncertain how they will prosecute and deal with the 229 detainees held at Guantanamo Bay.
With just over six months to go on the president's commitment to shut down theprison camp in Cuba, administration officials told the Senate armed services committee it is far from clear how many detainees will face court trial, or where.

The dilemma is at the heart of the debate over the remaining detainees and what legal rights they will have under military and civilian justice systems.

They were illegal combatants fighting without uniform. In any event when did any country release POWs prior to the conclusion of hostilities. Lock em up in max security prisons, but not so secure that the Aryan Brotherhood can't get to them.
