A MAN who photographed more than 3,000 women's bottoms as they toured Venice was yesterday arrested by police.
The 38-year-old was held after police became suspicious of a large bag he was carrying.

Recording equipment was discovered inside his bag with a hole cut out for the lens.

He had aroused suspicions as he followed women around the city and they watched as he stopped behind several women as they bent down.

Further searches revealed several DVDs and when they were played more than 3,000 images of women's bottoms were discovered.

The man was charged with infringement of privacy which carries a jail sentence of between six months and four years.
