Pope set to read Bible on the TV

BENEDICT XVI is to make history and become the first Pope to read a chapter of the Bible on television.
Details of the secret talks between the Vatican and state TV RAI had leaked last month but were denied at first as no agreement had been reached. However last night it was confirmed that Pope Benedict would open the six night daily series in the autumn.

It would be pretty boring just watching him sitting there, with the only sound the rustle of turning pages, the occasional sniff, or eructation, and maybe slurps from a cup of tea (or glass of creme de menthe).
