Ship owners urge Somali blockade

THE International Association of Independent Tanker Owners, whose members own 75 per cent of the world's fleet,
called for a military blockade on the coast of Somalia to stop pirate attacks that are forcing shipping companies to avoid the Suez Canal.

Well the Somali's are not too rich a people. Maybe if you paid them to protect your shipping it would work out all right. It is not as if they do not have the expertise.

The only thing that will work is to attack the base of operations of the pirates!

Every time a ship is taken by the pirates repeat the bombing.

Presently they are secure in the knowledge that they will not be attacked, their magnificent houses payed for by the ship operators and owners will continue to be safe!

The whole land based infrastructure that supports the pirates also has to be bombed or the world will only see an increase and expansion of their operations!
