A GUNMAN wounded three men in Yokohama, near Tokyo, yesterday before hiding in a building and apparently killing himself. Police identified him as Kenji Hayashi, 62, a member of Japan's third-largest gangster group, the Inagawa-kai.
One wounded man was unconscious and in a critical condition, police said, and the two others were conscious.
