US ships end hunt for black boxes

TWO US military ships are pulling out of the hunt for the black boxes of Air France Flight 447, which crashed into the Atlantic off Brazil's north-east coast on 1 June, killing all 228 people on board, it was announced yesterday.
A French nuclear submarine will continue to look.

I think a new type of box needs to be designed asap.
